I seriously hope this is a laundering effort cos there-s no way they expect the movie to be a hit with that name and Varun Dhawan of all ppl promoting it.

As per the plot, everything revolves around the boy and his pappi. If he kisses any woman, she ends up marrying someone else! What else to you think they could have named it?

I saw the trailer of this film recently when I went to watch Bareilly Ki Barfi. It-s about a guy who has a curse that whoever he kisses, gets married to the love of his/her life next. So a sanitized sanskari copy of **Good Luck Chuck**, nothing more.

Another blend that I have enjoyed is what I call a Forest Eagle (not sure if that was already out there or not...). Now, I will preface that I did not enjoy my bottle of Eagle Rare by itself. The medicinal cherry flavor tasted like drinking Robitussin to me. Which, again, just goes to show how everyone tastes differently. To make the bottle more palatable for myself, I read about a 1:2 blend with Old Forester 1920. I had some left over from making an Old Forester 1915 blend (which is darn tasty), so gave it a try. The OF 1920 and ER worked really well together. The Cherry is still there, but rounded off and doesn-t taste like cough syrup anymore to me. I know Eagle Rare is not so easy to find these days, but if you have some, why not give this one a try? I liked it a lot. Forest Eagle: 1 Part Eagle Rare + 2 Parts Old Forester 1920

I see these sometimes and wonder if the original post was actually just a joke, like the guy knew Tio meant uncle, but is just saying that as a joke? If this were spoken rather than a post it would be easier to tell if he was just trolling or bullshitting. Back when I first discovered IHH through some mainstream dhh tracks(raftaar-emiway and the KRSNA disses at the time), mujhe lagta tha ki Indian Hip-hop consists of a handful of artists like Naezy,Divine, Emiway, KR$NA, Raftaar etc. But the moment I join this sub, and r/DHHMemes and other related IHH subreddits, that conception was blown away completely. You guys exposed me to a sea of talented underground artists that I never would have known about. All the events that this sub organized, from the rap battles, to the weekly themed contests wagerah really drew me into this world and got me to believe that I could become like one of these artists too. Taken from Sikhsangat forum # The Making Of A Brahmgyani Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh In Guru Ji’s darbar Bhai Surinder Singh Ji (a kirtani from Baba Bakala who was well known at one time (before the advent of tape recorders in Punjab)) narrated the following story to the sangat when he was asked about the importance of naam japna. One time Bhai Sahib and his Jatha were travelling around Uttar Pradesh and had reached Lucknow the state’s capital. On the Prakash Diwas Gurpurab of Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj the Gurudwara’s committee had arranged a one week kirtan programme and had requested that Bhai Sahib and his Jatha partake in this mahaan seva. In this way Bhai Sahib and his Jatha sang the praises of Akaal Purakh for one week at the Gurudwara Sahib in Lucknow. After the ardas on the final day of the programme Bhai Sahib was approached by an elderly hindu lady called Mata Dhian Dev who had accompanied a Sikh family to the programme. Mata Ji told Bhai Sahib that she had never heard such beautiful ‘bhajans’ before and that she had been deeply moved by the love and peace of the house of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. With tears in her eyes she requested Bhai Sahib and the sangat to come and hold a kirtan programme at her house. Although Bhai Sahib and his jatha were meant to leave for Punjab later that night Bhai Sahib being a beloved of Dhan Guru Granth Sahib Ji acceded to her request immediately and said that they would come to her house. The next day Bhai Sahib and the Sangat from the Gurudwara Sahib arrived at Mataji’s house. Mataji with the help of her relatives had cleared all the furniture from her house and had put white sheets everywhere in preparation for their arrival. For six hours Bhai Sahib and the Sangat sang the praises of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. At the end of the kirtan as Bhai Sahib was about to leave Mata Dhian Dev quickly got up, took hold of his hand and said, “Gyaniji please give me a mantar from this path of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj”. Bhai Sahib smiled and told Mata Dhian Dev that he could not give her such a mantar as only the Panj Pyarai could do that. Mata Dhain Dev listened to this and then said, “You have sung so many ‘bhajans’ here and at the Gurudwara Sahib please give me any mantar from one of these ‘bhajans’”. Bhai Sahib once again explained that the mantar Mata Dhian Dev was seeking could only be obtained from the Panj Pyarai. He then began to explain in detail the life of a Gursikh and the Amrit Sanchar but Mataji kept asking him to provide her with a mantar. Finally Bhai Sahib told her to repeat Guru Sahib’s mool mantar from Ikonkaar to Nanak Hosi Bhi Sach as many times as she could. Mataji got up and went to her room and came back holding a mala in her hand. While showing Bhai Sahib her mala she told him that every day she uses it to repeat the name of Shiva and asked if she could use this mala to repeat the mantar he had given her. Bhai Sahib smiled and said yes. Mataji then asked Bhai Sahib how many times she should repeat the mantar. Bhai Sahib said that she should repeat the mool mantar as many times as she could. A few years after this Bhai Sahib and his jatha visited Lucknow once again to peform kirtan seva. After the programme Bhai Sahib saw the same secretary who was there the last time they had visited the Gurudwara Sahib. Bhai Sahib talked to the secretary for a while and then asked him about the wellbeing of Mataji. When Bhai Sahib did this the secretary didn’t say anything for some time. After a while Bhai Sahib asked if she had passed away. The secretary looked at Bhai Surinder Singh Ji and said, “No Gyaniji, Mataji has not passed away but has become a Brahmgyani”. Bhai Sahib was taken aback by this and decided to go and visit Mataji’s house. When he reached her house the front door opened and he was greeted by a beautiful Khalsa decorated in Guru Ji’s dastar and bana who with folded hands loudly uttered, “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh”. The beautiful khalsa adorned with Guruji’s pure dastar, bana and shahstars was none other than Mata Dhian Dev who had now become Mata Dhian Kaur a beloved daughter of Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Bhai Surrinder Singh Ji eyes began to well up in tears. He was soon caught in Mata Dhian Kaur Ji’s loving embrace. After taking a few moments to compose himself Bhai Surrinder Singh Ji immediately sat Mataji down who with both hands did a benti for Bhai Sahib to do Kirtan. Bhai Surrinder Singh Ji smiled and said that of course he would do Kirtan but before that he wanted to hear how a few years ago he had left a Hindu mother only to find a beautiful Khalsa mother in her place. Mataji nodded her head and then began to speak, “Do you remember all those years ago when I asked you to give me a mantar of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj? You immediately told me to go and see the Panj Pyarai to be blessed with Naam. I quickly dismissed this and after much insistence you agreed to write out the Sri Mool Mantar Sahib of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj for me.” “The day you left I sat down and began to recite Sri Mool Mantar Sahib from Ikonkaar to Nanak Hosi Bhi Sach using my mala. I used to sit down everyday like this and became lost in this practise. Eventually minutes became hours and hours became days. I used to take my mala everywhere with me. Slowly even my mala disappeared until the only thing I could hear, see, feel or think about was Guruji’s Sri Mool Mantar Sahib.” “Wherever I looked I began to see Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Sri Mool Mantar Sahib. It was everywhere and within everything from the floor to the walls, trees, birds, skies and beyond.” “One day while reciting Sri Mool Mantar Sahib I felt my conscious pulled inwards and was met by four people whose faces were covered. They were dressed in dark clothes and were carrying a throne that was held in place with two long sticks. They told me to climb on to the throne and said that they would carry me to wherever I wanted to go. I quickly got onto that throne. They took me to many places each which was more beautiful than the next and asked me if I liked any of them. I was told not only to look at each place but also to get of the throne and wander around those places. After wandering around for a while I would come back to them and say is there nothing else? Is there no land where only Guruji’s Sri Mool Manatar Sahib resounds?” “Eventually I was taken to a place that I cannot describe. Outside of this place resided all the devis, devtas and other beings. They were all waiting outside hoping to gain entry to this place. Some were sweeping others were performing other types of seva…” “I don’t know what happened then but the next thing I knew I was inside this very place. I found myself sat in satsang surrounding by men and women with moon-like faces that were dressed in blue and kesri and decked with sarabloh weapons. In front of all these people sat the most beautiful person I have ever seen.” “The only way I can describe his beauty is that he was the Sri Mool Mantar Sahib itself” “After sitting here for a while I was approached by a tall person who had a long flowing beard, was dressed in blue and carried a long stick. However how much it was she left this earthly vessel while reciting Sri Mool Mantar Sahib in the house of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. # How An Abused Muslim Boy Became The President Of Pakistan Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh One time Sardar Meherban Singh Ji went to see Muhammad Ayub Khan (the president of Pakistan) at his house. After talking for a while Bhai Sahib noticed a plaque on the wall in which he saw Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji written in Gurmukhi and Urdu. Bhai Sahib looked at Ayub Khan and said, “Why have you got the Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on your wall?” Ayub Khan smiled and said, “Sardarji this Kalaam of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj has made me what I am today.” ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥ ਜਪੁ ॥ ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ॥1॥ Ayub Khan said, “I was beaten everyday by the Mulla in charge of the Madrasa. One day I had had enough and after being beaten very badly decided to run away from the Madrasa. I ran as far as I could. I finally stopped (at the only place in this world that is open to every single creature) the house of Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. I sat outside on the steps of the Gurudwara Sahib and began to sob. As I was doing this I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw the beautiful face of a Naam Abiyhaasi Gursikh. The Gursikh looked at me and said, “Yuba why are you crying today?” I wiped the tears from my face and said, “Babaji I can’t take this anymore! Everyday I go to the Madrasa just to be beaten by the Mulla. My heart, mind and body is broken. I don’t know what to do!” The Gursikh smiled at me and said, “Yuba I will give you the Mool Mantar of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Whenever you have any difficulties in life repeat this Mool Manatar of Guruji.” I looked at the Gursikh as he wrote the Mool Manatar in urdu and proceeded to teach it to me. After repeating the Mool Mantar together for a few minutes the Gursikh told me to go back to the Madrasa. With hope in my heart I went back to the Madrasa. As I was doing this I realised that I was late and that the Mulla would be very annoyed but I still repeated this kalaam of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. When the Mulla saw me he looked at me and said, “Oh, so you’ve come. Quickly sit down we have a lot to get through.” I was so surprised that he didn’t tell me to stand in one spot, or grab me by my ears, slap me or use the long stick he used to keep to beat me with! This was the first time in my life that I had not been beaten by the Mulla. From this moment I realised the power of this kalaam of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and quickly committed it to memory. Anytime I had any difficulties in life I repeat it. In this way I came to be the President of Pakistan. Having felt its power I tell my children to keep hold of this kalaam.” Akho Satnaaam Sri Waheguru. *This story is recorded in Ayub Khan’s autobiography.* *The Gursikh who narrated this story to the sangat says that he has this story pasted on his wall so that everyday when he wakes up and looks at it it gives him a slap across his face. While writing this I feel that same slap.* # A Pandit who realized Greatness of Mool Mantra There was a Pandit Ji (I think his name was Mita Nand or Nita Nand) during the time of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. One day he was sitting in langar next to some Guru Ke Singh and he overheard them saying how long it takes them to get to Sachkhand. One Singh said, “I close my eyes and I get to Sachkhand and when I open them, I’m back here again, that is how fast it is”. The Pandit Ji was shocked to hear this and went to Maharaj and said, "Maharaj Ji, tuwade sikh ehna jhoot bolde ne?" (Maharaj Ji, your Sikhs tell lies like that?) Maharaj said, “Why Mita Nand, what happened?” He went on to tell Maharaj what he had heard whilst sitting in langar and Maharaj started laughing. The Pandit Ji then said in the Vedas it says that a punni person, (somebody who does good deeds) takes a few months to get to Sachkhand and a pappi person, (somebody who does bad deeds) takes them a very very long time to get to Sachkhand. It-s almost impossible. But how can your Sikhs say that they can get to Sachkhand by just closing their eyes? How is this possible Maharaj Ji?” Maharaj then explained that doing good or bad deeds is very different from doing bhagti. Maharaj went on and said that a Guru Ka Sikh does not get involved with too much of each as his journey should have bhagti in it. Guru Sahib asked Mita Nand if he also wanted an avastha of the likes he had heard from the Singhs in langar. Mita Nand quickly replied, “Of course Maharaj”. Maharaj told the Pandit Ji to do Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji 22 hours a day - one after the other followed by 2 hours of sleep for 6 months none stop. He was also told that while doing Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji he should also do seva in the langar. The Pandit Ji said, “Satbachan” and followed Guruji’s instructions. After 6 months passed like this he came back to Guru Sahib and placed his head at Maharaj’s charankamal and said, "Maharaj Ji, your Sikhs do not lie! Now when I close my eyes I also go to Sachkhand and when I open them Im back here, just like that. # A Gurmukh takes on a Pir This is a story someone told me about a Gursikh from England. So I am going to write the way I was told. This Gursikh is a very humble guy, crazy amount of Naam Simran. He is always seen reciting Bani. Most of the time he reads Mool Mantar while working, walking and even eating. No one not even his family members know about his naam kamayee. Couple of years ago, a Muslim Pir from Pakistan came to England. He was spiritual and had ridhi sidhis. As soon as he came to England he did some show off and got large gathering following him. Sikhs, hindus, muslims and everyone else would go to his dera. But this Gursikh would never go to his dera even though his family members and friends always insisted. Some of the followers told Pir about this Gursikh and Pir says, “Bring him to my dera once then we will see.” Well, it didn’t take Pir’s wish to come true. One day Gursikh was pushed so hard to go so Gursikh decides to go one time only to see this Pir. Gursikh goes and sits down. After the ceremony everyone is bowing to Pir and meeting him but Gursikh is sitting down. Pir noticed him and said some “mantar”. The Gursikh felt like someone had put heavy pressure on him and he was tied with chains. He was unable to move. Gursikh felt like someone had total control over him. Gursikh tried to let loose but failed. He quickly turns to Guru Ji and starts reciting Mool Mantar. While doing so He looks at Pir and laughing Pir falls down from his stage, screaming and begging to let him go. Everyone with open mouth just watched and wondering what had happened to the Pir. No one pushed him, no one touched him. Why was he begging and crying? Gursikh quickly walks out and goes home, thanking Guru Ji for saving home and starts doing Naam Simran. Pir is taken to hospital and doctors find nothing wrong with him. Pir is scared and his whole face turns yellow with fear. Everyone asked him what happened but he said nothing, spoke nothing. He just said, “bring me that Gursikh. I wanna talk to him.” People find the Gursikh and ask him to go to Pir to talk. Gursikh goes to see Pir. Pir tells everyone to leave and wished to talk to Gursikh alone. Pir says, “My ancestors centuries ago had company of Prophet Mohammad. We were blessed with “mantar”. This “mantar” had been passed down for centuries and now I know it. It has lot of powers and I used it for everything. But your “mantar” broke my “mantar”. I don’t know what you said but when you looked at me I saw someone else’s face in you and scared me to death. My all power was destroyed by your “mantar”. Please tell me what is it that you read?” Gursikh says, “I cannot but Panj Pyare can. If you want to know it then wear a Kirpan, wear Kachera and take Amrit. Then you will be blessed with everything.” Pir says, “That I cannot do. I have reputation back home in Pakistan. What would they say if I become a Sikh? I will be kicked out. People would say that Pir blessed by Prophet’s mantar lost his faith and became Sikh. I cannot do that but I have made up mind. As long as you live I will not come here.” Saying this Pir went back to Pakistan. Going to fakers like “Ajmeri Baba, Pir Sayeead, Mastar Ji” and all others is wrong. Take Amrit and Guru Ji will bless you with His Naam Simran and Bani which is above all. Guru Ji’s shabad is the answer to everything. The only way to get this shabad is to give yourself up to Guru Ji by taking Amrit. “Fir Mukat Payai Laag Charnee Satguru Shabad Sunaye”. *“Roop Gobind Ka, Parcha Shabad Da, Didar Khalsay Da”* # A Hindu Girl finds suitable match through Mool Mantra A Hindu woman and her parents came to Sri Darbaar Sahib Jee to do Ardaas in front of Guroo Maharaaj Jee for the woman-s Anand Karaj. She was getting on in age and every prospective groom always rejected her. The parents were getting especially worried. They had been to all Mandirs/Teeraths but there was no good news. Sri Darbaar Sahib Jee was their last hope. On doing their Ardaas, they asked Singh Sahib Jee if there is anything additional they should do. Singh Sahib Jee told them to collectively, as a family, do Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Jee Jaap for an hour a day from Ik Oankaar to Hosee Bhee Sach. Only on the eleventh day after doing Darshan of Sri Darbaar Sahib Jee and doing Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Jee Jaap for an hour a day, the woman had her engagement confirmed and the marriage happened a few days thereafter. After the marriage, the newly wedded couple came to Sri Darbaar Sahib Jee to thank Guroo Maharaaj Jee. They met Singh Sahib Jee and narrated how their marriage happened so quickly. Singh Sahib Jee told them to continue doing Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Jee Jaap forever in the same manner every day, and Guroo Maharaaj Jee will do Kirpaa on them forever, since such is the power of Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Jee. # A Sikh Bibi and her Exam Another one which comes to mind is of a Sikh bibi who wanted to go abroad to some Western country from India for education purposes. Unfortunately I only remember the sakhi very vaguely so many apologies if what I have written is incorrect. The Sikh bibi unfortunately could speak very little English and was required to take an English exam before she could enter the Western country. The bibi decided to take an intensive course in English as the date of her departure was very close. When she went to the class and told the teacher of her intentions they said that there was no chance that she would be ready to take such an exam as she knew very little and very significant time limitations. She was obviously very disappointed. As she left her class she met a Gursikh who could tell from her body language that she was disappointed. Without asking her any details the Gursikh simply said, “Don’t worry bibi, simply do Naam Simran and Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji, Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj will take care of the rest.” The bibi with renewed hope diligently followed these instructions. Needless to say she passed her exam and was able to go for her studies. # Cancer cured through Mool Mantra There lives a hindu pandit boy in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. In his early twenties, the doctors told him that he has cancer. His parents showed him to many doctors but all doctors gave the answer in negative. Then this family went to the Gurdwara Sahib in Malviya Nagar and met some AKJ Singhs as there was a local smagam there. One elderly singh advised the boy to go to Sri Amritsar Sahib every 15 days, do Ishnaam and do jorian (Shoe House) de seva there. The boy started doing the same. He would catch a train every 15th day, reach Sri Amritsar Sahib at Amritvela, do ishnaan and then do joriaan de seva for hours. A sevadaar at the jorrra ghar told the boy to do Mool mantarr while doing seva and taught him mool mantarr. After a month, when the family took the boy to the doctor, the doctor was shocked to see the cancer had started healing. The boy continued the seva and within 6 months, his cancer got completely cured. By now, the boy had developed a strong relationship with the Guru Ghar and he took the decision to chakk amrit. He got a pesh at a rainshabai and was blessed with Amrit. At present he is 25, wears a dumalla at smagams and does lots of sevaa.

I remember some of these stories, there’s no end. Once your Shardha builds up, your Sangat changes and you and/or close ones experience these things. The pir story, I’m not sure but I think the Singh is still alive. I know people who know him. Locals from there know the whole story, the Pir went back to Kenya though iirc?
